The idea for the candle holder draws from the architectural discipline. Inspired by classic columns and their capitals, they simplify yet address – and reinvent – the clean lines of the traditional candle holder. The candle holders invite a sense of serenity and contemplation; the impression of spending a moment, out of time, in the heart of “Candles”, oil on canvas from the 80s painter Gerhard Richter.
