Marcio Kogan used materials known for its Brazilian roots. Whilst admiring the Brazilian modernist generation, Kogan presents this bowl with a craft touch as well as a high tech look; mixing a maximum of functionality with a minimum of design complexity. Using rubber, a genuine Brazilian material, combined with copper gives these curved shaped bowls originality in texture and aesthetics. Studio mk27 was founded at the beginning of the 1980s by Marcio Kogan. The architectural projects of studio mk27 highly values formal simplicity, always taking great care in the details and finishing. Marcio Kogan and the team strive to undertake the difficult mission of giving continuity to this line of production.
